9/11 Whistleblower to Join Cindy Sheehan [17 Aug 2005] - Former FBI whistleblower Coleen Rowley, along with a state senator whose son died in Iraq, are headed to Texas this week to join a growing anti-war demonstration near President Bush's ranch...``Our children are dying and I think it's time to go support Cindy and see if Bush will come out and we can say, 'President Bush, what is the mission exactly?' National Security Watch: FBI whistle-blower petitions high court [05 Aug 2005] - Sibel Edmonds takes her case to the Supreme Court ... Edmonds claims that she was fired in retaliation for reporting security breaches and possible espionage within the bureau. In its defense, the Justice Department is using the "states secrets privilege," an argument that information related to Edmonds's case is highly classified and cannot be disclosed without endangering the nation's security. If the Supreme Court agrees to hear the case, the court's decision could influence the fate of several other lawsuits involving national security and intelligence in which the administration has used the states secrets argument.
