A while back I came upon a recording of NYPD radio which was labeled as if it had taken place on 9/11.
I never got around to listening to the recording… until now.

After cleaning up the audio (normalization and noise reduction) I made a transcript of the transmissions.

What I found is extremely interesting.

There are three key pieces of information in this ~3 minute segment.
The first major piece is the statement “10-5 the message about the remote controlled plane”. (10-5 is “10 code” for “repeat message”) The remote controlled plane statement is interesting since this modus operandi is detailed in Operation Northwoods, a 1962 plan by the Joint Chiefs to carry out terror attacks on American soil to be used as a pretext to invade Cuba.

a. ?An aircraft at Eglin AFB would be painted and
numbered as an exact duplicate for a civil registered
aircraft belonging to a CIA proprietary organization in the
Miami area. At a designated time the duplicate would be
substituted for the actual civil aircraft and would be
loaded with the selected passengers, all boarded under
carefully prepared aliases. The actual registered
aircraft would be converted to a drone.?

b. ?Take off times of the drone aircraft and the actual
aircraft will be scheduled to allow a rendezvous south of
florida. From the rendezvous point the passenger-carrying
aircraft will decend to minimum altitude and go directly
into an auxiliary field at Eglin AFB where arrangements will
have been made to evacuate the passengers and return the
aircraft to its original status. The drone aircraft
meanwhile will continue to fly the filed flight plan. When
over Cuba the drone will being transmitting on the inter-
national distress frequency a ?MAY DAY? message stating he
is under attack by Cuban MIG aircraft. The transmission
will be interupted by destruction of the aircraft which will
be triggered by radio signal. This will allow ICAO radio.”

Shortly after this transmission, all city wide task force units are told to respond to Liberty & Trinity Place, which lies in the shadow of the WTC complex.

The second transmission of interest is an officer responding to the 10-5 request. He states the following:

officer: “I got a message on that uh plane, it’s a big truck with a mural painted of a of a airplane diving into New York City and exploding [inaudible] know what’s in the truck, the truck is in between 6th and 7th on King Street“

What does this statement have to do with remote control of a plane? Is it a cover transmission?

The third statement of interest states that the truck blew up and two suspects are in custody:

officer: “we got both suspects under kay, we have the suspects who drive…drove in the van and that exploded we have both of them under kay let’s get some help over here”

Umpteen Lexis queries later and I have yet to find a report of a truck with a wtc-attack-mural exploding.

Naturally I’m concerned with the authenticity of this recording, however this would be quite an elaborate hoax for small audio clip which has not been widely circulated. My main concern is whether or not this event occured on 9/11/2001, what follows is a list of reasons which indicate this to be true:

1) I’ve been unable to locate ANY report of an exploding-mural-van/truck in NYC on ANY date. 9/11 was one of the few dates in history where an event like an exploding truck might go unreported.

2) Two suspects are apprehended while cruising NYC streets with a mural which depicts the 9/11 attacks on their van, perhaps to be setup as patsys then later discarded for whatever reason. Did these suspects know too much about their operation?

3) All city wide task force units are told to report to the “mobilization area” at Trinity and Liberty, which is on the next corner from where the NYPD staging area was on 9/11. (Trinity and West)

4) The remote control plane statement is an extremely strange transmission, until you compare it to the method of attack detailed in Operation Northwoods.

5) I have recently located other undocumented (not included in the Port Authority 9/11 transcripts) NYPD transmissions from 9/11. This indicates that the released transcripts do not contain ALL NYPD radio transmissions that took place on 9/11.

6) ID3 tags and the filename also claim this was recorded on 9/11.

Any information on the following would be much appreciated:

1) Is anyone familiar with this clip?
2) What do CIT and EAQ codes represent?
3) Any documentation on an exploding mural-truck on 9/11 or any other date in history.
4) Any other undocumented (not in the PA transcripts) NYPD 9/11 audio recordings.
