In November 2002, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) called on President Bush to disavow "Total Information Awareness, (->)" a new cyber-snoop system being developed at the Pentagon that would be able to track every American's activities. http://ACLU.com was created in 1991 by the ACLU Department of Public Education in New York.
