Adnan Khashoggi Linked to 9/11 Terrorists, Part 36: Who Mentored Michael Hayden? By Alex Constantine The planning for September 11, 2001 was as meticulous as any covert action planned by the US military/intelligence corps. Every participant had an assigned role - most roles were minor and sheltered by "need to know" - and there were many participants. But pinning down lead personnel, many of them Iran-contra holdovers (backgrounds, actions on that day, subsequent statements and lies and interaction with other operatives) simplifies the process of understanding why the Trade Center towers fell. The war games and terror drills planned for that morning are considered integral to the actual covert operation by most 9/11 skeptics, so this is is a likely place to start putting holes in the strategic defense shield of diversions and cover stories that protect the true terrorists. On August 21, 2002, AP reported (and the truth movement bit), "in what the government describes as a bizarre coincidence, one U.S. intelligence agency was planning an exercise last Sept. 11 in which an errant aircraft would crash into one of its buildings.... Adding to the coincidence, American Airlines Flight 77 - the Boeing 767 that was hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon - took off from Dulles at 8:10 a.m. on Sept. 11, 50 minutes before the exercise was to begin...." The exercise was organized by John Fulton at the NRO, a DoD-CIA adjunct. Fulton's resumé states that he has some 25 years in the intelligence community. He is a former mission director for "our nation's satellite imagery program," as well as director "of the National Security Space Master Plan for the U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Space Communities under the auspices of the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense (Space)." In the commercial sector, Fulton holds a variety of patents related to "smart GPS." He is currently chief of the Strategic War Gaming Division of the NRO, "a member of U.S. Joint Forces Command's Project Alpha - a prestigious 'think tank' for advanced concepts related to such issues as homeland security."2 Has any federal agency in existence ever prepared for an airplane accidently crashing into it? Edward Jay Epstein found that this exercise "begs the question why the NRO, which is concerned with real-time intelligence from satellites at a time of a national emergency, would be concerned with an unintentional rather than intentional crash. The real issue is what intelligence, or risk assessment data, caused the CIA and NRO to conduct this simulation."3 At 9:00 am yet, coincident with the devastation in Manhattan. The odds of an airplane falling on the NRO building accidently were fairly infinitesimal, so the drill was indeed a "bizarre" coincidence. It's doubtful that Fulton, a risk assessment specialist, would bother with this highly improbable "exercise" ... unless directed to do so ... NRO spokesman Art Haubold said: "Agency chiefs came up with the scenario...." Back to Peter Teets. Highlights from his biography, posted at the NRO site: "Peter B. Teets is the retired President and Chief Operating Officer of Lockheed Martin Corporation .... He is Under Secretary of the Air Force ... As National Reconnaissance Office Director, he is responsible for the acquisition and operation of all United States space-based reconnaissance and intelligence systems. ... Mr. Teets began his career with Martin Marietta, Denver, Colorado, in 1963... In 1970, he began managing the inertial guidance system to the Titan IIIC launch vehicle until 1975, when he became Program Manager for the company's Transtage Project and Director of Space Systems. Five years later, Mr. Teets became Vice President of Business Development for Martin Marietta Denver Aerospace... Following two years in these positions, Mr. Teets became President of Martin Marietta Denver Aerospace, and in 1993, President of the company's Space Group. After the Lockheed Martin merger in 1995 and until 1997, Mr. Teets served as President and Chief Operating Officer in the Information and Services Sector...."4 Peter Teets reported "directly to the Secretary of Defense and the Director of Central Intelligence." Donald Rumsfeld, George Tenet. Who else is a "chief?" The deputy director of the NRO at the time was Dennis D. Fitzgerald: "Mr. Dennis Fitzgerald was appointed Deputy Director of the National Reconnaissance Office on 10 August 2001" - that is, appointed by George Tenet. One month before the airstikes. Agent in place. Mr. Fitzgerald is also the deputy assistant to the secretary of the Air Force Intelligence Space Technology division, and "director of "the Office of Development and Engineering (OD&E), Directorate of Science and Technology (DS&T), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)." CIA ... DS&T ... Dr. Ruth David's old bucket shop ... He received four master's degrees from John Hopkins University. "In January 1974, Mr. Fitzgerald joined the CIA and has subsequently spent the majority of his career in DS&T/OD&E with duty in the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)."5 George Tenet appointed these NRO officials, and they reported to him directly. Tenet's fingerprints are all over 9/11. He is on intimate terms with many of the ranking perpetrators: • Washington Post columnist Vernon Loeb reported on October 7, 1999 that the year before, DCI George Tenet "brought in Wall Street heavyweight A.B. 'Buzzy' Krongard to serve as his 'counselor'.... The man who helped underwrite Microsoft and AOL as head of Alex Brown & Co." was "helping Tenet & Co. start up a CIA venture capital firm called In-Q-It [the nascent In-Q-Tel] that's supposed to keep the agency abreast of computer technology..."6 In December 1998, according to USA Today, "CIA Director George Tenet and his executive director, Buzzy Krongard, called on [Norman] Augustine, the respected builder of Lockheed Martin," to assist in the start-up of In-Q-Tel.7 • General Mahmoud Ahmad, the 9/11 black bag man, was in the U.S. when the attacks occurred. He arrived on official business on September 4, 2001 for consultation with George Tenet.8 9/11 scholar Michel Chossudovsky: "Everything indicates that CIA Director George Tenet and ISI Chief General Mahmoud Ahmad, had established a close working relationship. General Mahmoud had arrived a week prior to September 11 for consultations with George Tenet. Bear in mind that the CIA's George Tenet, also has a close personal relationship with President Bush. Prior to September 11, Tenet would meet the President nearly every morning at 8:00 a.m. sharp, for about half an hour."9 (Incidentally but significantly, Mahmoud Ahmad, as the September 10, 2001 Pakistani newspaper reported, held his “most important meeting” with Marc Grossman, US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs. Marc Grossman is an executive vice president of the Cohen Group, named after former Secretary of Defense William Cohen, CEO - in 1987, Cohen sat on the bipartisan Senate select committee that investigated the Iran-contra arms-fund transfers, and signed signed off on the majority report. Also at the Cohen Group, count senior counselor Paul J. Kern, former Commanding General, Army Materiel Command (AMC); James M. Loy, Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security (2003-2005); Joseph W. Ralston, former Commander, U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe, NATO; Harry D. Raduege, Jr., Director, Defense Information Systems Agency (2000-2005), Commander, Joint Task Force – Global Network Operations (2004-2005); James M. Bodner, Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (1998-2001)l George Robertson, Secretary General, NATO (1999-2003), Minister of Defense, UK (1997-1999), Member, House of Commons, UK (1978-1999)). • After Bush announced his decision to place Michael Hayden in the DCI slot in May 2006, the outgoing NSA director told reporters: "When I returned from Korea in 1999 to take the position at NSA, I was befriended most of all by two people - George Tenet, who was then DCI, and Porter Goss, then Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. Both of these men befriended me and mentored me and supported me."10 Hear that? Tenet was Hayden's mentor. • Reporter Wayne Madsen reported on May 25, 2006 that a "confidential 'France Only' report of the French intelligence service, Direction Generale de la Securite Exterieure, [stated] that the CIA and Britain’s MI-6 maintained effective control of an important Al Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan as late as 1995, fully two years after the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center." Tenet was deputy director of the CIA at the time. "The CIA and MI-6 permitted control of training operations at Darunta, an 'Arab Afghan' base located near the camp of Osama Bin Laden and used to manufacture explosives and chemical weapons and train in their use, to pass to the control of Ibn Cheikh, a Libyan leader of Al Qaeda."11 "Osama bin Laden and his global network of lieutenants and associates remain the most immediate and serious threat." - George Tenet, June 2001 12 • Bush and Tenet sent SAIC's David Kay to Iraq for the futile secret mass death cachés.
